Ingredients
1 head of cabbage
3 slices of bacon, chopped
1/2 onion, diced
Water
Salt and pepper to taste
Water
1-2 tsp. Vinegar (optional)
Directions
1. Remove cabbage core. Rinse the cabbage well and drain. Cut in half and thinly slice each half. Set aside.
2. In large skillet, fry the bacon.
3. Remove excess fat from pan. Add and sauté onion.
4. Add cabbage and stir thoroughly. Add a little water, and salt and pepper. (Optional: add 1 or 2 tsp. Vinegar)
5. Cover and cook until tender.
