Ingredients
Crust
3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 pkgs. of dry yeast
¼ tsp. granulated sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1/3 cup of oil (Olive or Salad)
1-1/4 cups of warm water
Topping
1 can stewed tomatoes
Basil leaves
Salt
Pepper
Mozzarella cheese
Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and put in warm oven for 5 minutes.
2. Put flour and sale in bowl and make a hole in center and pour oil and yeast in.
3. Mix till it stays into a ball and place in large bowl. Cover with cloth and let stand in warm place for 2 hours.
4. Dough will rise to double its size. Knead well and separate into 2 balls and let stand again for 1 hour.
5. Put a little oil on pizza pan and spread dough. Make holes with fork and put into preheated oven (450 ºF) for about 15 minutes or till bottom is golden.
Sauce:
Put sauce, cheese, and top with whatever you want.
